Great walk to get away from city life noise and crowding. It was such a peaceful walk around the lake but cars should be banned from entering that area. 2 cars sped through and fully dusted everything they left behind and while they were …
Nice views, nice walks, nice visitor's centre. Lots of parking, price from £3.50 for 2 hours.
Great day out if you like a walk, paddle boarding, sailing, rowing, there is even a miniature steam train that runs the length of the lake. If you want to use your own paddle board, etc, you will have to book a time slot.
This walk was located right by our Air B&B. Very easily accessible walk and takes 2 hours to walk around the lake.
Nice little cafe by the sailing club as well.
Nice walk, Café is expensive.

A truly beautiful place to visit. This was a day out when we were staying at Cowdale. You can walk alongside the lake or take a ride on the narrow gauge train for a small charge. There is car parking at the station. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
Nice lake to walk along, all open as usual, takeaway cafe and toilets are open. Parking is limited at weekends can be a bit tight to find a spot, but overall place is nice for a stroll.
Cafe was nice. We went on the bike and although the sun was shining, it was quite cold. We will go again when society has re opened properly. Lovely scenery.
